The Jazz UK

Clive Brady

Clive started his DJ career in 1976 as a live events DJ in London which over the next decade progressed to Club Residencies.

In 1985 he trained as a radio presenter with Radio Thamesmead in London, one of the very first community stations in the UK. In the same year he joined the DJ team at LWR, one of Londons biggest FM pirate soul stations of the 80`s moving onto other pirate stations through to 89.

Over the next 20 years Clive moved into commercial FM radio around the UK, presenting professionally at several stations where he covered shows such as Drive time, weekend breakfast and “late night love songs”

Clive has also been involved in some news reading and voice over work but his passion is broadcasting Jazz funk and soul which he now brings to us here at the Jazz UK.
